In 2014 owner and general manager Robin Petersen reimagined his restaurant and created BLEND Restaurant and Bar.

His vision was for an unforgettable experience where people come together and enjoy delicious food, good wine, and handcrafted cocktails.
BLEND offers fresh, modern, and traditional cuisine from around the world.
We strive for quality ingredients and premium Canadian products to create recipes for the full enjoyment of all senses.

Born on the Saskatchewan Prairie in North Battleford

Robin Petersen started his career in a professional kitchen when he was 15 years old and in a few years became an Executive Chef in the restaurant he now owns.
At 21 he realized his passion for business can go far beyond a job in the kitchen and purchased the restaurant known today as BLEND.

Creating blend was with the goal to offer a relaxed and inviting atmosphere,

where guests would be welcomed with delicious food and exceptional service. Robin strives to make BLEND feel like home for everyone and takes pride in his restaurant and team.

He is passionate about giving back and building The Battlefords.
His involvement with fundraisers, charity, and events throughout the years has made a significant impact on the local community.

When not in the restaurant, Robin can be found entertaining his family and friends with culinary experiences, enjoying a sunny day at the lake, or travelling to new and exotic destinations.

Award-winning chef Goran Pospisil moved to Canada in 2011 and became an Executive Chef at BLEND in 2013.

As the owner of one of the top 10 restaurants in his home city Belgrade, Serbia, he brought along a wealth of experience and creativity to the BLEND family.

Chef Goran has participated in numerous culinary competitions through the years – not only as a chef, but also as a judge. Member of the Serbian Chef Association, the Canadian Culinary Federation and the World Chef Association, he has always been inspired to create new and exciting dishes.

Chef Goran is proudly holding a Canadian Red Seal Certification and different awards from Europe and Canada.

His favorite part about being a chef is the excitement and artistry that goes into every culinary experience, especially creating a recipe and giving it life on a beautifully styled plate. When he isn’t cooking, he enjoys playing guitar, fishing throughout Saskatchewan or having a cognac with good friends.
